Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is a unique experience that can offer you and your partner an opportunity to work as a team, gaining clearer insight and understanding into each other and yourselves, and thereby deepening your connection with one another. And while every couple has their own particular strengths and struggles, couples who have gone through therapy often report greater appreciation, fondness, compassion, and forgiveness in themselves, and their partners.
Couples may be married, unmarried, open, living together, living apart long distance, parenting, single parenting, blending families, step-parenting, gay, straight, transgender, young, middle aged, aging, ailing, and more.

My Goals
I am interested in getting to know you and your partner, for the unique couple that you are, as well as the unique individuals you are. My aim is to understand how you and your partner connect, and disconnect, and to work with the two of you to enrich your experience of each other. I find working with couples deeply rewarding, and I make it my goal to help couples have a similarly beneficial experience.
You may be in a relationship of a few months or a few decades, and you may be struggling with a deeply painful situation, or a low grade yet persistent need to change an unhelpful dynamic. Whatever brings you to my couch, the process of couples therapy can give way to added enlightenment, clarity, appreciation, respect, and a deepened sense of friendship to your most important relationship.
I have been working with couples since 2000, and have training in Imago, Gottman, and PACT therapy models.
